We believe that life has so much to offer, there’s no reason to settle for common and predictable. That’s why we make things. We want to create a furniture and lighting line that is treasured for its uniqueness and appreciated for the care we put into the design and the quality of craftsmanship. Our work is inspired by our travels, as well as the rare, French furniture, lighting and objets d’art we’ve collected and imported since 2001. Some of our designs harken back to historic French styles, some are influenced by 20th century modern design, while other pieces are a metamorphosis of our savoir-faire and creativity. We use extraordinary and unexpected materials such as bronze, exotic woods, hand-blown glass, luxurious fabrics and hides, and plaster of Paris. Every piece is custom and handcrafted by L.A. artisans who, like us, devote their days to creating objects that help make the world a little more beautiful. You can see the Bourgeois Boheme line alongside pieces from our vintage and rare import collection in person at our retail showroom in the New York Design Center, or at our private atelier in Los Angeles. We also work with acclaimed international architects and interior design firms who commission custom pieces for high-end residential and commercial projects around the globe.
