Pigeon Squared are two sisters who share a love of art and finding treasure. We have taken many off the beaten path road trips across the country just to find and do things that are unique. We have traveled the backwoods of the south, scaled the mountains of the west, and explored the coast of the east. All our trips include finding folk art installations, looking for fossils and rocks, and stopping at historical and cultural sites. Every trip is different but we always are amazed with the people we meet and the things we find. And if we are lucky, we find things to take home to remind us of these experiences. Both of us have played many roles in the arts. Our professional experiences include furniture and commercial design, stained glass work, collage, sculpting, and art gallery management. This background influences what we choose for our collections. We especially love folk art. It makes us feel personally and culturally connected to the person who created the art. We hope you will feel that connection as well.
