Aazam Irilian is a contemporary abstract artist. To create her paintings, Aazam uses her hands as her tool. She combines Mineral salts, acrylic, ink, fabric dyes and oil on canvas to create texture and depth within the space. She explains, “ being an artist is pouring one’s soul onto the canvas, carving it into a stone or molding it into clay. It is being able to free the mind to create beauty, to create mysteries and, to create long-lasting emotion and passion for the viewer. Inspired by nature, she does not paint the actual objects but the undercurrent and the core of what comes through her. An intuitive artist, she creates from the heart and through her art she intents to touch the heart and soul of her viewers, to bring them joy, lift their spirit and transcend the moment to one beyond this world.” Her paintings are in various private collection in United States, France and Iran.
