Atelier Roux is a full-service interior architecture and design studio based between New York and Paris. Working across residential design—from ground-up new builds to the thoughtful transformation of existing homes—the studio guides each project from the first conversation through the final detail.
Founded by Manon Roux, Atelier Roux operates from first principles: function before form, detail before decoration. Each project begins with how a home needs to work and how its clients want to live within it. From there, the studio develops interiors defined by considered proportions, natural materials, enduring craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place. The result is a home that feels cohesive, deeply personal, and as though it could only belong to the people who live there.
The studio is shaped by Manon’s French-American heritage and her family’s deep roots in haute couture. Raised around the worlds of Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Thierry Mugler, she developed an early appreciation for artistry, precision, and the discipline of making. Her fine arts education took her from Cranbrook and Purchase College to the Rhode Island School of Design and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, sharpening her instinct for proportion, composition, and form.
Atelier Roux brings this perspective to residential projects throughout the United States and Europe, combining the rigor of interior architecture with a nuanced approach to furnishings, materials, and decoration. In close collaboration with architects, builders, artisans, and craftspeople, the studio creates homes with a coherence and presence that shortcuts cannot replicate—spaces designed to work exceptionally well and endure.
