I love old furniture. It's built to last, holds so much history and so many family stories. I also appreciate good design and craftsmanship. I have a slight obsession with good looking furniture, specifically chairs. My weakness. I have a thing for chairs, and I have more chairs than space in my house. Yes of course a few chairs serve as side tables, plant holders, and even sculptural pieces. But still, too many chairs. So I like to think of myself as a chair foster parent. I find them, usually unappreciated, let them into my home, love them, and release to the right family when the time comes.
