The Shine Studios is a Los Angeles base ceramic and design studio created by artist April Johnston, after many years focusing on a career in commercial photography, April found inspiration from the ceramic/ clay forms of traditional wabi said style pottery, she found herself creating these contemporary versions for relaxation in her high stress career, from there the studio was born. layering and firing numerous expermantal glazes and clay applications inspires her daily practice in her studio.
