The pastoral scene shows an unfurled scroll with the motto written in black script. A large urn is painted in Sienna, a pine tree stands in the foreground. On the left, a steepled church stands in the distance. A deep cobalt blue is enameled over the copper framed base, the lid’s interior is mirrored.

Excellent antique condition, light lining to the enamel. The mirror shows no foxing. less
