Mid century Murano glass “Sasso”
Stone by Alfredo Barbini, widely recognized as a leading master of 20th century Murano glass. This stone is from his “Scavo” collection. The patina was designed to resemble ancient glass that has been excavated; leaving a rich, sometimes iridescent surface. Incised signature to face, “Barbini.”
