I'm pleased to offer for sale this magnificent Vintage handmade tall bud pottery vase with hand painted flowers that decorate outside of the vase, signed CARRIS. C,1983. This can be used as a flower vase or for decorative purposes.
"All the pieces from Carris Pottery are one-of-a-kind items, each thrown and decorated by hand. Their designs are made with free-hand brushwork, inspired by Oriental pottery. They use metallic oxides and sgraffito, a process in which designs are scratched through the surface oxide to the glaze underneath.
Their pieces are in private collections throughout the country"
