When seen in person, this does not disappoint.
The central panel depicts a traditional Chinese courtyard with figures around a table with onlookers. The panel is surrounded by a multitude pink and turquoise flowers, leaves and delicate turquoise scrolls.
Further surrounded by a white and gold greek key or fret pattern and a further border of orange and pink flowers, all on a gilt background. Gilt edged rim. The underside has four individual vignettes of auspicious objects hand painted on the white porcelain.
Red underglaze double bordered Qianlong stamp / chop.
A superior and finely made older piece suitable for display on consoles, tables or even walls.
