This original Dada signed typography art print is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. Printed on off white archival paper stock with dark brown ink, the image depicts a Dada esque arrangement of typography and the word " Mensch " a Yiddish expression for " A Good Man ". This original artists print is signed by the artist in the lower right margin.
Dada or Dadaism is an art movement of the European Avant - Garde in the early 20th Century. The term " Anti - Art " was coined by Marcel Duchamp in 1931 as a precursor to the Dada movement. In addition to being Anti war, Dada also had political affiliation to the extreme liberal left and was also anti - bourgeois. Some of the more well known artists of the Dada movement include Marcel Duchamp, Wassilly Kandinsky, Man Ray, Hannah Hoch, Mx Ernst, Hans Richter, among others. The art movement of Dada later influenced the creation of Surrealism, Pop Art, and Fluxus.
The original signed artwork measures 9 3/4" W X 12 1/4" H. It is in excellent Condition with light signs of handling. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
