Sterling Silver Spoon Solid Steel Mold, Circa Early 20th Century. One half of a sterling spoon mold by a company producing sterling silverware for the world renowned, New York based Tiffany & Company. The mold features the Tiffany name and 'sterling' on the backside of the spoon's stem. At the tip and base of the spoon is a botanical leaf pattern. Possibly a salt shovel, melon/sherbet, or baby feeding spoon. Could be hung as kitchen decor or as part of a living room tablescape. Lovely antique patina on this rare piece from the early 20th century. NOTE: I have one more spoon mold for sale in my shop as shown in two photos above- it is NOT part of this purchase. They would make a nice impact displayed together.
