Early 19th Century Empire gilded bronze and burl wood inkwell featuring four vessel, three for ink and one for pounce. The inkwell has a wreath motif centre handle and a drawer on the bottom with lion's head pull, it is mounted on for lion's paws.
Every side is beautifully decorated with ormulu Empire motifs.
