This Really is an Exceptionally Nice - Great Looking Antique American Blue Sponge Ware Decorated Stoneware Kitchen Mixing Bowl. Circa Very Late 19th Century - 1890s. It has Extensive Beautiful Blue Color Hand Decorated Spongeware Features that are Done in the Classic American Style. Also Note that the Thick - Heavy Stoneware Body Weighing 4 3/4 Pounds Has Ribbed Embossed Relief Features. It was most likely made in the Eastern Central Ohio Region. It is in Very Good Cosmetic - Strong - Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition - Displays Beautifully. Minor Imperfections Noted - It has a Very Old - Faint Hairline Crack at the Top that Can Best Be Seen in The Last 2 Photographs in My Listing. There is Some Light Wood Spoon Stirring Surface Wear and Some Age Related Glaze Crazing in the Interior Bottom - Basin.
It Measures 4 1/2 inches Tall and 11 1/2 inches Wide - Long at Top Rim.
