This set of 4 Metal Regency Maitland Smith Style Dining Chairs are made of the highest quality and are perfect for you and your home! If you look at the photos provided you will see the unique distressed looking finish that was purposefully used in order to mimic a form of leather or wood! The best way to tell that these chairs are quality is due to their weight. Most of the time metal chairs from the late 20th and 21st century are light due to the fact that they are made out of aluminum in Chinese factories. These chairs are made of iron meaning they have a tremendous amount of weight for their size. each chair weighs about 20-25 pounds giving it a luxurious and high quality feel! These chairs also have the seats upholstered in what appears to be a form of tweed. The chairs are perfect for and cafe table, kitchen table, small dining table or game table and will certainly bring a sense of class and sophistication into your home or place of choosing! Although not signed these chairs are most likely by Maitland Smith or Theodore Alexander which happen to be the two best furniture manufacturer's of the late 20th and 21st century due to their recreation of early 18th and 19th century designs of some of the most famous pieces of furniture in the world! The chairs are in good vintage condition with the exception of some light surface scratches and some very very minor finish loss otherwise good condition.
