This beautifully carved fruit wood sculpture was crafted in France, circa 1950. The realistic vintage bust features the face of a pensive monk wearing his cassock. The figure sculpture flaunts exquisite details throughout, particularly in the distinct facial expressions. Overall, the piece on a rotary base is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina throughout.
