The circular marble is inset into the wood base and encircled by a half round molding adorned with spiral fluting that is dotted with flowers. Four cabriole legs are joined by florets to the thin apron embellished with Vitruvian waves. The front of each leg has an acanthus leaf above imbricated disks, with a larger acanthus leaf at the bottom above hoof feet. A circular stretcher with a caned center section encompassed by a row of beading provides a second shelf for displaying small objects. Our French Regence style marble top side table would make a beautiful accompanying piece to just about any style chair or couch. See less
