JLP Coiffe Limoges Hand Painted Pink Roses Yellow & Gold Cake Plate Circa 1900
Nice antique French porcelain cake plate. Decorated with large hand painted pink roses over a green background. Gold gilding to the handles and along the edge. Marked on the reverse. This is an underglaze whiteware manufacturer's mark used by Coiffe in Limoges France between 1891 and 1914. This is an overglaze decorator's mark used during the early 1900s.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 8.5 inches wide.
