On offer is this stylish, circa 1950s-60s, Vintage Hollywood Regency era, slipper, lounge chair with sloped arms, columned straight wood … Read more On offer is this stylish, circa 1950s-60s, Vintage Hollywood Regency era, slipper, lounge chair with sloped arms, columned straight wood fronts legs, with a quasi faux-bamboo to architectural design elements, and flared back legs. Legs have original chrome foot bumpers. Textile is a cotton, in a navy blue coloration with miniature floral motif, an overall pattern to the textile and original to chair's manufactured use, and period, with double self-welt details throughout. Could attest to needing an uplifting, with an updated textile, i.e. re-upholstery, if so desired, otherwise in great condition. A super comfy lounge chair for any interior purposes, from living area, family room, den, office, bedroom, etc. Firmly grounded in the Hollywood Regency era, like from a set of an Auntie Mame movie. From a Miami Beach, Florida Estate. Only a minor scratch or two to one of the back legs, which is being fixed. We think the lumbar pillow must have been added as an afterthought, for a smaller framed body, otherwise not needed unless specified, but included. The chair envelopes the contour of any body frame very comfortably, with the casual feel and look. Great condition otherwise, indicative to time and period, most assuredly to era, use and manufactured period. Attributed to Selig.
