The iridescent glaze was developed by a chemist with the Zsolnay Porcelain Factory in the late 19th century. Eva Zeisel put the recipe to good use. This is one of many designs to be eosin-glazed. This vase was designed in 1983 and produced in 1999 in the Zsolnay Porcelain Factory in Hungary. Maker’s marks are on the bottom. See less
