One upright half of the base depicts a purple and white flower with precise outlines showing the traditional form of working within fields confined by wire. The reverse side of the vase shows a white flower with leaves that is painted in a free-form manner giving it the look of a watercolor. This vase has a maker’s mark on the underside. See less
