The broad … Read more A set of 12 Sèvres Louis-Philippe hunting pattern dinner plates, that he had produced for Chateau de Fontainebleau. The broad border depicts hand colored hunting scenes of wild boar, squirrel, deer, and dogs amongst elaborately decorated oak branches. In between the segments are the initials of Louis-Philippe and armorials. Most of them bare the three stamps on the underside of the plates. The light blue 1846 Sèvres stamp, the deep orange Chateau de Fontainebleau stamp and the black S46 stamp. See less
