These are a very nice pair of antique, 19th-century galvanized tin metal outdoor lantern in the traditional carriage light shape, my guess they would sit on a wall pier outside of a home.
They have glass funnels inside on piece of glass on the outside has a crack, but the rest is all fine, they would have been a few costs of paint over the years to preserve the lanterns, rare to get a pair, made in England in the 1800s.
