French Louis XV style walnut wingback Bergere chair, early 20th century.
Large and well-proportioned finely carved walnut wingback bergere armchair. The sturdy frame is decorated with finely hand carved delicate floral details. It is raised on four carved cabriole legs. The two armrests are adorned with accented acanthus leaves. This beautiful bergere, with its exuberantly decorative Rococo nature inspired carvings, showcases the stylistic
characteristics of the Louis XV era.
Condition is very good. The chair has a separate seat cushion.
