These beautiful antique American Victorian 10-piece dresser set is created in gorgeous sterling silver and was made between 1888-1910 by … Read more These beautiful antique American Victorian 10-piece dresser set is created in gorgeous sterling silver and was made between 1888-1910 by the LaPierre Company of Newark and New York. The 10 pieces are all monogrammed within a beautiful floral cartouche and appear to have the initials "LCN", are oblong shaped and all have a tapered handle which ends with a small finial. This set consists of: a hand mirror, an oval hair brush, a large crystal with sterling top powder jar marked "Hawkes" on the bottom, a small crystal with sterling top cosmetics jar, a nail file, a nail buffer with original chamois, a boot button hook, a large clothes brush, a small clothes brush, a shoe horn. Each piece has the hallmark: "Sterling, Patent Applied For, 3000." Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Hand mirror length=12 inches, Hair brush length=10 inches, Large clothes brush length=12 inches, smaller clothes brush length=10 inches, Large crystal jar=4-1/2 inches, small crystal jar=2 inches, nail file=8 inches, nail buffer=6 inches, boot button hook=8 inches, shoe horn=9 inches. This beautiful set has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition. Brushes show some losses of a few bristles, but are very usable and appear to be original. The hand mirror has a 1 inch scratch on the reflective mirror side. There are some superficial scratches, as well as some pin sized dings on some of the pieces. This beautiful set is the perfect addition to any boudoir dressing table, particularly if you like American Victorian style! See less
