The spindled footboard reminds me of a Jenny Lind bed in a way. Where the 2 finials in the middle of the footboard should be a spindle. The drops between the spindles in the footboard should have a turned finial hanging down from there. The 2 finials in the middle are 2 of them, so 4 are missing. Bed does still work as it is. Bed retains its original finish. Bed will need to be polished, a little scratch cover will take care of most of the scratches fairly easily. Bed is in good original condition. The outside measurements are 48" wide and 77 1/2" long and stands 40 1/2" tall. Inside the bed measures 45" by 72" so this bed will need a custom made box spring and mattress. See less
