Built of Paulownia wood, a fine-grained expresso-colored wood. The two doors close against each other to keep closed, the interior is open. A shallow drawer at the bottom and a small pull-out shelf above it. The whole is solid and sturdy whether it is used as another Butsudan or a domestic box. Vintage 40s' with clean and modern lines., the interior back wall is covered in a gold foil, now curling somewhat. The size is 14.25 " wide and 20" tall. 10" deep. See less
