Striking early 20th Century Chinese Famille Noir spice jar. The unique piece is made of porcelain with a rich black background, and accented with bright orange Foo Dragon motifs. It's trimmed in a yellow pattern along the top and base. It's topped with a pointed finial lid, and sits proudly on a wood plinth. Marked on the base with a six character honorific imperial chop mark. A sophisticated and functional piece to display in your home.
Overall dimensions are 7" diameter x 12-1/2" high
Jar itself measures 7" diameter x 8-3/4" to top of jar and 11" high to top of finial
