This beautiful double-sided hardwood screen showcases a rich, black lacquer finish and fine hand carvings accentuated with vibrant gold accents. This stunning piece celebrates the ancient tradition of honoring immortals through Chinese iconography. Beautiful depictions of gods and deities are seen among Ruyi cloud motifs. An interlocking Greek key pattern is used as a decorative boarder and represents the infinity or the eternal flow of all things. The other side of the screen has a minimalist aesthetic, a simple yet elegant foliate landscape of bamboo.
