This eye-catching chair is an iconic find of Mid-Century Dutch design. It’s straight forward, modern yet elegant style gives it a fantastic appeal. It has a black lacquered metal base, thick upholstered armrests and new grey fabric upholstery. The colours and materials combine perfectly and the chair has a really nice seating comfort. Winner of the prestigious Signe D’Or award in 1960. Literarure: Friso Kramer, Industrieel Ontwerper, 010 publishers, pg 96. The chair remains in good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The upholstery is new.
