The cabinet probably dates from the first half of the 18th century and originates from Lorraine.

Dimensions:

Height approx. 224 cm, body width approx. 158 cm, cornice width approx. 178 cm, body depth approx. 48.5 cm, cornice depth approx. 60 cm, inside depth approx. 44 cm.

Construction:

The cabinet can be dismantled and consists of a base, headboard, two side panels, two doors, back panel, shelves, and small parts.

Condition:

Good used condition with few signs of wear,
old restoration, see pictures. The piece of furniture has no active worm infestation. Pictures are part of the auction.

Description:

Beautiful Lorraine cabinet, 1st half of the 18th century,
oak sides, walnut and pear wood front, doors with striking Louis XIV-style design, frame profile running around the doors and the three base drawers, ball feet, left door with beautiful forged and decorated iron lock, brass fittings probably added later (possibly 19th century), interior with center shelf, three shelves on the left and right.
