A matched pair of Chinese porcelain Da Ya Zhai fengweizuns, Imperial yellow glazed exterior, turquoise glazed interior and inset base, … Read more A matched pair of Chinese porcelain Da Ya Zhai fengweizuns, Imperial yellow glazed exterior, turquoise glazed interior and inset base, all covered with fine small pattern iron wire craquelure. The body and neck of the vase are decorated with finely drawn butterflies amid pomegranate branches, leaves and fruits in green and violet with a perching Chinese brown sparrow. A red, Tian Di Yi Jia Chun, oval cartouche is glazed just below the flange of the neck and a red, Da Ya Zhai mark is glazed to the body. A red and white, four character, Yong Qing Chan Chun reign mark is glazed to the inset base. Circa early 20th century no later than mid century.
