A substantial and very stylish Baroque style mirror featuring fine brass foliate repoussé ornament in the mirror backed crest, corners and surrounding moldings. Each band of brass is framed by subtle ebonized ripple carved moldings, all in excellent condition. Polished, with attractive darker patination in the deeper repoussé. Beveled mirror plates throughout. Ca. 1900.
