Set of Vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian Studio Art Pottery Bowls - Circa 1950
The set of bowls features a geometric abstract design consisting of a black splattered pattern over alternating bands of gold stripes with fine lines inscribed into the surface of the clay. The white and gold glazed surface in combination with the Jackson Pollock inspired black paint splatter and fine line texture is further enhanced by the biomorphic curved forms of each bowl. This fabulous set of hand-crafted art pottery is very striking.
Each bowl is marked: "MADE IN ITALY."
