Each stick has a … Read more A diminutive pair of French Gilt Bronze candlesticks, dating from 1830-40, recently converted to boudoir lamps. Each stick has a putti or young child in its stem and resting on a filigree base. The sticks were not drilled or damaged in any way to make this conversion and could be easily converted back to candlesticks. They are each wired to take a 40 watt chandelier bulb with a clip on shade and on/off switches on the king cord. One stick has some minor corrosion on the base, as pictured. The sticks alone measure 5 1/2” tall; total height to the top of the shade is 12. 1/2”.A lovely and functional pair of early French sticks. See less
