This poster of a 1980 Hockney done in gouache, pencil and crayon was printed in England for a Tokyo exhibition in 1983. It is titled 'Parade' and framed in a narrow metal matte gray. Not examined outside of frame.
Could be great in a child's room with it's bright colors and subject matter. But could also be fun for an adult theme. The longer one looks at it you begin to wonder; 'What is that writing down the side of her dress?', 'Is the man missing his left sock because he doesn't have a left hand?', 'Did Hockney intentionally flip the colors on the French flags?'...
