Barra was deemed a revolutionary hero in the late 18th century during the conflict between the Monarchists and the Revolutionaries representing the embattled people. He was thought to have refused to embrace the Monarchists, which earned him death. The truth was he trying to hold on to two Revolutionary horses against Monarchists brigands.
