The porcelain vase of almost oval form is decorated with an earthy rusty-brown matte glaze on a bisque surface accenting the tactile decor scheme of raised dots and incised lines. The interior of the vase is finished with a partial drip glaze of darker glossy brown. Although the vase was produced at the end of the Mid-century Modern period, the Scandinavian design would look right at home in an Arts & Crafts interior. The vintage vase remains in very good, undamaged condition, measuring 6 inches height x 3 inches diameter. Fully marked on base Rörstrand / Sweden over the designer's facsimile signature, B. Vallien.
