A 1940's Queen Anne Dutch Glass Silver Filigree Divided Relish Tray Serve ware, Five Compartment Round Tabletop Centerpiece.
The hors d’oeuvres dish is divided into five shallow round and rectangular areas, and it is surrounded in a fine gallery frame with handles. The handles are royally decorated in filigree silver with baroque flourishes.
Hallmarked “Queen Anne Silver plated Made in England.” The crystal glass design is reminiscent of interlaced Lotus blossoms, which were the symbol of royalty. For many years Queen Anne ware has been associated with excellence, distinction, affluence, and sophistication.
Size: 9 inches diameter, 10 inches (including the handles). Stands approx. 1 ¾ inches tall.
Condition: Excellent vintage 1930s-1940s; no chips, cracks, repairs. Silver plate adornment with its vintage patina.
