H. Haseler of Birmingham who produced pewter wares for Liberty and Co. until 1926. The Arts and Crafts style tea caddy dates circa 1905-1910 and was likely retailed by Liberty & Co. The oval design has a highly polished and reflective surface that looks like silver. The lid is inset with a high-fired Ruskin pottery cabochon or "ceramic jewel" in turquoise blue with brown accents. Very good condition and fully marked on the base with the company's crossed roses logo over SOLKETS / MADE / IN / ENGLAND / ENGLISH PEWTER / 0614 [form number] / P, measuring 3 in. L x 2.25 in. W x just over 3.5 in. height. See less
