The blocky, graphic silhouette eschews soft curves in favor of clean angles: a Cubist goblet. Most striking of all is the painted surface, designed to create the illusion of marble. The complementary base colors —warm ocre and sky blue —have been painted over with a pattern of intricate black lines which imitate the veining of the stone. The effect is simultaneously elevated and eccentric, giving this vintage piece a truly unique personality. See less
