This is a decorative spherical lucite sculpture filled with rice husks with a small wooden stand. You can't help but marvel at how this piece was put together as you look at it. No known attribution on this design but the person I acquired it from did hint that it was made sometime in the 1960s. It would make one incredible eclectic and eccentric addition to anyone's decor! The sphere itself is about 12.5" in diameter and the wooden stand is quite proportionally small (compared to the sphere) at about 2.75" in diameter and 1" high. In excellent condition with very minor wear. See less
