Gueridon side table
This table is made by Oblik studio of Brooklyn New York. This piece was entirely fabricated in my Green-point studio by myself with no extra help. The Gueridon of Versailles inspired this original occasional side table. At the time only the best pieces would be considered for the royal interiors. The hand crafted Hexagonal top is assembled from triangles of steel and stainless steel interconnected with bronze. Like contemporary marquetry Oblik studio combines different metals in a powerful geometric composition. The base is an elegant assembly of thin steel bars intricately welded together . Antique black finish.
