A stylish vintage German Rosenthal Studio-Linie original boxed ‘Keramik-Solitärspiel’ (Solitaire Game) by renowned Danish painter, designer and artist Bjørn Wiinblad (Danish, 1918-2006) and dating from around 1979.
The solitaire game comprises of a round ceramic game board with an impressed patterned rim and glazed in a combination of green, brown and blue glazes with a glazed base. with 37 round hollowed out gaming piece slots to the surface and accompanied with 36 original round wooden gaming counters the game is presented in its original fitted cardboard box. The ceramic board has printed makers marks to the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
