Made in the rococo louis xv taste, with the gilt bronze frame with sweeping scrolls of foliate acanthus and feather cartouches. The top tent of beaded crystal the lower handbag again of beaded crystal with outer ring of long cut crystal darts. Finished with a cut crystal centre drop ball surround by small crystal drops. A fine example from the late 19th century. Lit from within with 3 light fittings suspended on chain.
