Grand-nephew of Léon Elchinger, he worked in the first half of the 20th century in the family workshops. Ceramist at the crossroads, he will combine the traditional know-how of the potters of Soufflenheim with the modernity of the Art Deco movement. This rare deer dish is signed by Jean Garillon.
