The finial is faceted and shows signs of wear with tiny chips. The body of the jar is columnar and ribbed at the bottom and the rim. The body also shows signs of wear. Pittsburgh glass founders opened their first 2 factories in 1797. By 1920, 80% of the glass produced in the U.S. came from the Pittsburgh area. See less
