Breathtaking polished brass plated sputnik chandelier. Features 12 long arms emanating from the small central sphere that is hanging from a white cord. Whimsical, Space Age piece that was designed after the first satellite, the Sputnik 1, to capture some of the thrill of the space race. Made in the 1950's-60's and will make an incredible statement lighting piece for any home. Perfect for Mid-Century modern or contemporary decor.
Works and is ready to be hard wired into the ceiling. To reduce risk damage to the piece, no lightbulbs will be included in the package. It takes standard chandelier bulbs. Please comment if you have any questions.
