Crafted in France circa 1880, the ornate casket is almost square in shape; all five sides including the top are decorated with detailed repousse allegoric cherub scenes throughout. The inside is upholstered with a luxurious blue velvet fabric. The decorative, elevated jewelry box is in excellent condition and adorns a rich patinated silver plated finish over copper. Original key included.
