Porcelanas Bidasoa in Gordailua, Spain was founded in 1934 and closed its doors in 2009. The company was well known for its porcelain dinnerware collections and decorative porcelain wares. The elegantly vibrant España Flamenco pattern made its debut in 1969 as part of Bidasoa’s Block Collection dinnerware line. Each demitasse cup measures 2½” x 2½” H/D; 3 oz. capacity per cup; saucers 5” x ¾” D/H apiece; 3-cup capacity coffee pot is 7½” high (includes lid); 8½” x 5½” W/D; together the set weighs 3 lbs. 3 oz.; handcrafted from porcelain; colors are vibrant cayenne red with deep cranberry red veining on a crisp white background; rolling black scrollwork border circles the coffee pot’s upper neck and inner rings of the saucers; maker, pattern and collection name on the underside of each piece; made in Gordailua, Spain. The set includes a coffee pot with lid, four saucers and four demitasse cups. The entire set is in excellent condition with minimal, if any visible wear. For a serious collector of uniquely fabulous porcelain demitasse sets, this beautiful set is a must have or the perfect gift for someone who is!
